The Embassy of the Argentine Republic in the Republic of Bulgaria informs that the National Undersecretariat of Electric Energy has announced the launch of a National and International Public Tender for the sale of shares in Compañía Inversora en Transmisión Eléctrica S.A. (CITELEC).

 

CITELEC S.A. is the parent company of Transener S.A., the main electric power transmission company in Argentina, which, through its networks, transports 86% of the country's electricity.

 

The tender aims to transfer the shareholding of Energía Argentina S.A., which represents 50% of the total share capital of CITELEC S.A.

 

Interested parties can access the bidding documentation through the platform www.contratar.gob.ar.

 

This call is part of the management of the sector and the transformation of Argentina’s energy configuration.
